MAIN is looking to recruit someone who is passionate about helping people with disabilities to live active, independent lives. Support our fantastic children and young people in a variety of settings – from their home, to our centre and out in the community as they enjoy one-to-one sessions with you. Not only will you quickly discover the impact of your work on our service users’ lives, you’ll also be well supported, with training and development to really excel in your role.
Our 1:1 ‘PA’ service is the fastest growing areas of support that MAIN offers. Not only do those who use the service feel the benefit, it’s also a much-needed break for their families and carers. You’ll be working with children and young people living with a range of disabilities, but predominantly those on the Autism Spectrum. Each individual will have their own agreed outcomes, developed with you. The service has been specifically designed to offer flexibility, choice and control to the person accessing it and ensures that each individual can progress at their pace, and with the MAIN services that suit them.
It’s a part-time role, and your hours will depend on what your service users need. You’ll be out in the community across the North East, with the flexibility to direct and manage your own workload.
Our ever-growing team is friendly, supportive and passionate. We’re looking for someone like us, who is also:
