MAIN delivers a range of accredited and non-accredited training on Autism Spectrum Disorders and co-morbidities all of which are scheduled throughout the year from our purpose built training room at High Force Road but which can also be delivered at a client’s own venue.

MAIN’s trainers Helen Jaques and Anne Tait are qualified teachers and have a vast experience of autism and teaching in a SEND background.

Testimonials for our training:

People who have attended our training have said:

“I feel empowered after attending this course. I can now look at my son and smile and appreciate his qualities rather than console myself about his differences as I did before.”

(S from Newcastle)

“This training has given me the skills and knowledge I need to get my organisation through autism accreditation. Great fun too and met some interesting people.”

(S from Edinburgh)

“Thank you MAIN for this course. Learning never used to be this good when I was at school! I will recommend it to my colleagues.”

(M from Middlesbrough)

An Update

Due to the Prime Minister’s announcement on Monday 23rd March 2020 we have made the decision to close our clubs until further notice.

Some of our PA services will continue.

All our staff will be working from home.  We will still be contactable during our usual working hours on our landline number 01642 608012; our PA phone 077967 69272 or Serviceteam@iammain.org.uk

and for Middlesbrough and Redcar & Cleveland SENDIASS Service: 07939152653 or apinkney@iammain.org.uk .  We will also be accessing our emails as usual.

We appreciate this will cause a huge amount of distress to some of our families.  If you need our support please get in touch.
