At MAIN we offer a wide range of courses to support and inspire people and families living with Autism.

MAIN recently added ADHD accredited Level 2 & 3 Training.

Our courses and workshops are designed for you, delivered in a place where you feel at home. As part of these sessions we encourage individuals living with Autism to reach out and ‘tell is how it is’ as guest speaker.

MAIN is proud to be the first UK Autism Training Provider to also be accredited to offer accredited ADHD Training.  With a speculated 40% of those with Autism also having ADHD, our training programme allows students to establish which behaviours are Autism and which are ADHD.

Although MAIN does supply a wide range of available courses, perhaps the most popular are the accredited training courses which run across the Tees Valley.  These course go from a basic awareness to more in depth study and is ideal for anyone wanting to understand more about the condition to a professional wanting to enhance their skills and study.

Training session run throughout the year, however specialised bespoke training packages can also be accommodate for employers wanting to offer training to their employees or out of area trainees.

Training Reviews

“Having already done the early birds training I was keen to understand more about autism and my son’s condition.  I found MAIN Autism Awareness course very useful and helped me to understand my son’s disability and how I can support him better.”

“As a Social Worker I have worked with people, both children & adults for the past twelve years in a variety of settings, and I found the Level 3 Autism Awareness Course to be very beneficial.  It really provides a unique insight into the condition and how to better support individuals I work with.  I also found the guest speakers with Autism to be a very useful touch.”

“I really liked the Autism Awareness course, my son is autistic and I work with kids and adults on the spectrum but its amazing to hear real life experiences from others on the spectrum, especially when  you work with those who can’t express themselves.  Very wel done.”

“I’m supporting MAIN having been on numerous courses now, they really are a great charity and wonderful training programmes.”
