Helen Jaques is Charity Manager and has overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the charity. Helen is a qualified teacher with a Master’s Degree in Autism and joined MAIN is 2011 as Events Manager. She also manages MAIN’s training interests and the Middlesbrough SENDIASS contract.
Darren Holt is Family Resource Manager. Darren comes from a management background and joined the charity in 2014. He began work in MAIN’s outreach services. His skills sets lay in his innovative and creative ideas which he implements in the running of MAIN’s outreach services.
Kerry Gunn is Finance Officer and joined MAIN IN 2016. Kerry is AAT qualified and manages MAIN’s accounting and payroll systems. Kerry is also an excellent administrator and plays an instrumental role in MAIN’s fundraising activities.
Katherine Palmer is Family Resource Co-ordinator. Katherine has worked for MAIN since 2015. She works alongside Darren and her role involves operating MAIN’s customer management system: Care Planner and liaising with parents/carers/service users and social services with their support packages.
Steph joined MAIN in 2016 as a full-time member of staff working as an Outreach Worker. She has a vast experience working with our children and adults in our PA service and in our clubs both as a worker and Facilitator. Steph has also worked for MAIN as an administrator part-time where she qualified as a SENDIASS Assistant before moving on to become MAIN’s Service Team Co-ordinator.
Anne Tate is Events Co-ordinator and joined MAIN is 2016. Anne is a qualified teacher with a degree in Childhood and Education Studies and comes from a background of working with learners with SEND. She delivers most of MAIN’s training and is also Internal Verifier for MAIN’s accredited training.
Rory Brady is Finance/Administration Assistant. Rory joined MAIN in 2013 as an apprentice and now assists in the preparation of information for staff payroll, expenses and petty cash and reception. Rory has good IT skills and also works as an outreach worker in some of MAIN’s clubs.
Kimberley Austin is Autism Resource Co-ordinator for our Durham Post Diagnostic Service and joined MAIN in 2013. Kimberley has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and is currently working on her Master’s Degree in Health Psychology and Clinical skills. Kimberley began working for MAIN in our outreach services in Teesside and has had many roles in the charity.
Melissa Mallin is Autism Resource Co-ordinator in our Durham Post Diagnostic Service and joined MAIN in 2014. Melissa has a BA Hons Degree and originally began working in our Durham children’s services before moving on to our adults services.
MAIN has a large team of staff working on its highly regarded outreach services.
